When it comes to cranberries… the recipes I love most are often quick to make and easy to assemble. That’s where my go-to cranberry sauce recipe comes in!
… I put my own spin on their recipe with the ingredients we had, and it’s quickly become my favorite way to make cranberry sauce!
- 1 cup water
- 4 cups fresh cranberries (12 oz package)
- 1 cinnamon stick
Optional: Pecans, orange zest, raisins, currants, blueberries, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice.
The recipe calls for a cup of water. You can easily substitute that with 1/2 cup of orange juice 1/2 cup of water if you want to increase the orange note in the sauce (cranberries and oranges play well together!)
